CF at Party conference
This year party conference will be held in Bournemouth. If you are attending please join us at two special CF events.
CF Champagne Reception hosted by the Deputy Chairman of the Party Lord Ashcroft, KCMG
Date: Sunday 1 October
Time: 7.30pm - 9.00pm
Venue: Sherborne Suite, Highcliffe Hotel
Come join us for a champagne reception in the Highcliffe Hotel hosted by the Deputy Chairman of the Party Lord Ashcroft, KCMG. This will be a great event to thank the out going CF National Executive and Area Chairmen and to welcome in the newly elected team. We hope that you can join us.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Bournemouth Social Action Challenge 2006
Date: Monday 2 October
Time: All afternoonVenue: St Mary's Church
Monday afternoon will see CF take part in a key project at this year's Party Conference. St Mary's Church has lain dormant for over 10 years since it was deconsecrated, and with local community groups desperate for office, meeting, teaching and performance space it is a building that needs to be brought back to life. This is the Party's challenge for Bournemouth 2006.
The church needs a full make over and we hope that CF members will want to join the CF National Executive to help paint and clean up this key building to voluntary groups.
David Cameron and members of the Shadow Cabinet will attend the project throughout conference and a summary of progress will be broadcast each day in the conference hall. When complete, David and Bournemouth East MP Tobias Ellwood will hand the building back to the Bourne Spring Trust, the charity who will manage the building for around thirty volunteer organisations and local groups.
For further information on this project and to register your interest please contact James Cutts at jamescutts2000@aol.com
